Torsion is useful surface and sculpture in equal measure. Deep opposing cuts are worked slowly around the solid form, leaving the end grain visible at the top and the chisel’s rhythm close to the base.

We keep the marks that give the material its identity, then refine every touchpoint so the piece feels resolved in daily use.
